The Redwood Sanctuary is the newest garden area. Unlike the other regions of the garden this garden was not fenced until recently. Thus, the Redwood Sanctuary is an excellent example of a deer-resistant, drought tolerant garden containing many dwarf conifers and lavenders, along with a very large California Redwood.
